Congratulations! You are a committed parent. You are ready to build your parenting muscle so you can be your most effective parent.
Regular sessions give you the chance to blow off steam, check in with an expert, and most especially develop the consistency
that makes parents calmer and more confident no matter which problem or issue comes up. Devoting three months to coaching, you really give yourself the chance to solidify and refine your parenting priorities and skills.
We meet in person, by phone or via zoom for 9 sessions roughly every week (but a required three sessions a month).
Package includes the Harmony at Home Family Assessment
(a 50+ question look at your family) and 9 sixty-minute sessions that get completed over a 3-months period.
A thorough in-take questionnaire allows me to get to know you quickly so we can jump right to the heart of your parenting goals.
You being a committed weekly client allows us to develop a deep relationship that goes beyond the scope of an individual session.
Feel free to email me during the week with quick questions or to celebrate your successes. I am here to walk beside you in your parenting journey.
It would be a deep honor to work with you and your family.
My name is Elisabeth Stitt. I am an author, parent educator, coach and retired school teacher, but first and foremost I am a mother and a stepmother. I’ve been through it all: diapers, the terrible twos, crazed teenage years and even saying goodbye as the kids leave home for college. As a teacher for 25 years of over 3000 students, I know how little support parents have in today’s society. Since I started Joyful Parenting Coaching in 2014, I have supported parents through my own extensive experience and expertise because I’ve been there and know how to navigate the difficult world of parenting. Yes, parenting IS hard work, but it can also be a ton of FUN. So let me help you learn the strategies and skills you need to bring harmony and calm to your home.
"Elisabeth has a great easy going way about her. She understands that we are all different, have different learning styles, different backgrounds, different strengths and weaknesses and embraces them all. She looks at the whole person and the big big picture. She is really a breath of fresh air."

"Elisabeth is incredible. With her background in teaching and education, she has a particular insight into the needs of children. She is compassionate. She is constantly learning. She has an immense passion for passing on her knowledge and skills to parents so that they are empowered to create a home life and relationships they desire. If you're looking for support as a parent, you will be so grateful you chose to work with Elisabeth."

"Elisabeth is a joy to work with. She is passionate, caring, educated, and extremely experienced in her field. She takes the time to learn and understand how she can truly help you. I feel very comfortable when speaking to her and she does a great job at making you feel "heard"..she also takes the time to research and review studies about child behavior and development and does an amazing job at coaching new, experienced, or "planning" parents." -Juliette
